FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Advisor works in a busy, fast paced environment. Writing up service orders and overseeing the day-to-day operations. You will be working with our customer base, mechanics, and our warranty administrators.

QUALIFICATIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule, quote and assign work as required to run the Service Department as efficiently and profitably as possible.  Follow up with customers as necessary.
  • Communicate Kenworth warranty parameters and policies to customers as it applies to each service request.
  • Work with Warranty Administrator to assure the timely and accurate filing of claims and jobs are completed within the labor guidelines payable by the O.E.M.
  • Coordinate with Sales Department regarding the receipt and delivery of all trucks, assuring that proper procedures and paperwork policies are adhered to.
  • Maintain shop safety with monthly inspection and safety policies.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.  Report all unsafe activities to the Service Manager.
  • Additional duties may be added as needed.
  • Abides by the company Drug Free Policy.
