FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary responsibility of the Mobile Fleet Service Manager is to promote and manage the Mobile Fleet Service Technicians. The Mobile Fleet Service Manager will ensure the technicians are providing quick and premium service and support through our established network of Kenworth dealer service locations. The Mobile Fleet Service Manager will communicate troubleshooting status and diagnosis and give assessment so our customer can plan for load and driver downtime.

 QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the Mobile Fleet Service Division.
  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the Mobile Fleet Service Division.
  • Ensure mobile technicians are scheduled for repair work that match their skill level to ensure timely and quality repairs.
  • Monitors technicians? daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
  • Markets and promotes the Mobile Fleet Division to outside sources to build business.
  • Responsible for leading and assigning tasks to roadside mechanics and oversees service for roadside repairs.
  • Tracking repairs and their causes, scheduling technicians, preparing cost estimates, and maintain accurate, timely updates for each customer.
  • Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks.
  • Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
  • Hold quarterly safety meetings with all mobile fleet technicians.
  • Informs repair technicians of time allowances on each repair order.
  • Ensure repairs are charged out correctly based on warranty and/policy repairs.
  • Contributes to customer relationships by demonstrating cooperation and professional conduct and communication.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the President of Hissong Group, Incorporated.
  • Schedule, quote and assign work as required to run the Mobile Fleet Service Division as efficiently and profitably as possible. Follow up with customers as necessary.
  • Tracks maintenance on all mobile truck units and schedules maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the President of Hissong Group, Inc.
  • Ensure all mobile trucks appearance is maintained and kept clean.
  • Responsible for hiring mobile fleet technicians as needed.
  • Additional duties may be added as needed.
  • Abides by the company Drug Free Policy.
