A recent Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI) study evaluated commercial fleet dash cam safety performance. The December 2024 study tested real-time detection and in-cab alerts for risky driving behaviors. Nauto commissioned the study, which followed VTTI’s 2023 benchmark testing protocols using Class 8 tractors and light-duty commercial vehicles.
